Summary:
In order to accommodate foreign language installations, the internal encryption scheme used in Activate Disk had to be modified. This modification ‘breaks’ backward compatibility in some cases and prevents ‘activating’ across major versions.

More Information:
Starting with AGI32 v1.92, you will no longer be able to activate installations across major versions. All installations MUST be within the same major version (v1.9, v2.0, etc.). In other words, you can not activate a v2.0x installation from a v1.9x installation.

In addition, v1.92 can only activate other v1.92 (or greater) installations. You can not activate a v1.90 or v1.91 installations from a v1.92 installation and vice versa.

To avoid potential problems, all installations in an activate disk environment should be the same version (see How To: Update an Activate Disk Environment)

Applies To:
AGI32 - v1.92 (or greater)
