Summary:
Tools-Network License-Network License Check In/Out - Unable to check out a license even though service is enabled. May get one of the following messages:
- Sorry, unable to check out a license, incompatible version detected. You must upgrade your server software
- Sorry, unable to check out license, had a problem returning connected license
More Information:
Having an invalid User Name has been known to cause this problem. An invalid user name may appear something like:
- C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents...blah, blah...
Workaround:
Change the invalid user name to a valid name using the Tools-Update User Information command. After changing the name, be sure to close and restart AGi32 before attempting to check out a license. This should resolve the issue. Please contact Customer Care if you still have a problem.
Status:
This issue has been addressed in AGi32 v2.0 and Toolbox v1.70. However, an invalid user name may still exist from an earlier version. If this is the case, change the name and you should be good to go!
